IT Business Analyst Specialist Digital Platforms will support and/or manage the implementation of technology initiatives supporting the company’s portfolio of multi-brand, and multi-national consumer-facing digital experiences. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work with cross-functional, multi-project teams to ensure solutions are delivered on-time and on budget in accordance with the defined scope, timeline and budget. The IT Business Analyst Specialist is also responsible for planning, scheduling and controlling all project activities toward these objectives, applying technical, theoretical and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements, while building positive professional relationships with stakeholders, vendors and project team members.
  • Reference standards and processes to ensure best practices are being followed consistently across brands.
  • Facilitate team meetings and conducting code reviews.
  • Assist with resourcing/staffing based on needs and skillsets.
  • Be a point of escalation for issue resolution and risk mitigation.
  • Report status and escalate issues/risks to project and GIT leadership.
  • Communicate standards and guidelines
  • Accept/reject deliverables.
  • Be a point of escalation for issue resolution and risk mitigation.
  • Provide project management and oversight for internal teams and vendors.
  • Work with internal teams and vendors to document project scope, develop estimates and schedules and track schedules.

Experience, Education & Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst/Project Manager with experience supporting or managing major interactive or web development initiatives.
  • Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies is a must
  • Experience managing large re-platform projects is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles, methods and techniques. PMP certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple simultaneous projects involving cross-functional product teams within budgetary and schedule constraints
  • Demonstrated experience managing external and internal clients
  • Persistent attention to detail
  • Strong technical and business aptitude
  • Knowledge of software/internet development lifecycle
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Visio
  • Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Production of digital properties (websites, mobile apps, emails, social media apps, etc.)
    • Enterprise Management, which includes Asset Management, Content Management or Translation Management.
    • Vendor Management, including cloud-based application service providers and offshore technology resources
    • Resource Planning & Management of on and off-shore project team members.
  • Experience with web analytics packages (Google Analytics, Omniture, Coremetrics etc.)
  • Experience with SDL Tridion CMS or any other enterprise content management systems helpful.
  • Prior experience in web development or close involvement in writing SQL queries, reviewing architecture and technical specs is preferred.
  • Knowledge of web-based user management systems and COPPA considerations for child-based sites.
  • Familiar with Facebook Connect, OpenID and OAuth authentication and authorization technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of website performance and development code to support customer-facing, high traffic websites.
  • Knowledge of optimization and localization techniques using CDN’s, such as Akamai, MirrorImage, and China Cache.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based computing and services, such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience building sites that leverage a CMS. Experience with SDL Tridion preferred.
  • Ability to effectively participate in multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment.
  • Experience interviewing, hiring and appropriately staffing/resourcing front end developers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  • MBA or MS preferred but not required
