The Opportunity: 

The Fisher Price Toy Store is currently looking for a Sr Toy Store Associate to support day to day operations. Candidates will need to be able to drive a forklift.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

  • Responsible for the efficient maintenance of inventory in the stockrooms and on the salesfloor
  • Prepare truck lists and unload regular deliveries from warehouse
  • Assist with verifying, counting, sorting and storage of incoming inventory
  • Provide customer service support to the Toy store, including answering phones and answering consumer questions
  • Cash out customers and assist with customer returns
  • Straighten aisles and re-stock shelves when it is quiet at the register
  • Assist other sales clerks with issues as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service in all aspects of the position

What We’re Looking For:

  • Able to work in a full-time capacity
    • A flexible schedule is required and will include working on Saturdays and occasionally on Sunday
  • Ability to unload a delivery truck in all types of weather on a regular basis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels
  • Working knowledge of cash registers and ability to give accurate change.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills that demonstrate sound knowledge of grammar
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, use a step stool or safety ladder (stairway style with railing and 5 steps total) and lift up to 40 pounds unassisted and over 40 pounds with assistance

The base hourly rate for this position is between $17.25-$19.00.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base hourly rate will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
