Treasury Analyst

The Opportunity: 

The Financial Analyst – Treasury will support Mattel’s daily liquidity management, intercompany funding and propose borrowing and investment recommendations, supported by the short-term cash flow forecasting process. This role is ideal for a candidate who is eager to gain experience in Mattel’s global Treasury Operations and financial analyses

What Your Impact Will Be: 

• Support the global treasury cash management system and automation of treasury processes
  • Open, close and update bank account signers and authorities in a treasury management system
  • Annual/on-going review of bank account signatories and bank portal user access
• Support month-end closing activities for investments reporting, debt and bank fee reporting, intercompany loan reporting and SOX compliance
• Execute spot FX transactions for manufacturing plant funding
• Build partnership and alignment with key functions within the company, including the Mattel Shared Services, Controller’s Office, Tax, Internal Audit, and Global Business Finance teams. 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Finance, Accounting preferred)
• 2-5 years of experience in treasury, cash management, banking or accounting preferred
• Fundamental understanding of Financial Forecasting and Accounting required
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills and proficiency in all other Microsoft Office applications
• Proactive, engaged, high energy and results-oriented
• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate complicated matters clearly and concisely in both verbal & written formats 
• Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.

The annual base salary range for this position is between $88,000 and $110,000
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
