The Opportunity:
Mattel APAC is seeking an Accountant for our Finance division with a focus in analysis and reporting.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Handle month-end closing and prepare financial & management reports for the US region
- Monitor accounts receivable and liaise with internal and external parties on customers related matters, and prepare regular accounts receivable reports to management
- Prepare cashflow forecast and perform variance analysis against forecast
- Prepare interim & year-end audit schedules and support SOX audit & financial audit
- Respond to ad hoc queries from various stakeholders including Commercial Finance and different business functions
- Support supervisor on control compliance, system implementation, process enhancement projects and ad hoc assignments
What We're Looking For:
- Degree holder in Accounting or Finance or other related disciplines
- Qualified member of CPA or equivalent will be an advantage
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial and management reporting, preferably from MNCs
- Proficiency in MS Office especially in Excel e.g. Pivot table, V-lookup is a must
- Knowledgeable in ERP system e.g. Oracle and HFM is a plus
- A good team player with positive mindset and strong interpersonal and communication skills
- With strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
