The Opportunity:

Mattel APAC Sourcing Finance team is seeking a Senior Accountant with a focus on analysis and reporting. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for financial & management reporting, customer accounting, audit and forecast for US region
  • Monitor AR collection & customer deductions and prepare customer performance report
  • Review customer contract and resolve issues relating to customer inquiries and issues
  • Review and monitor customer allowance calculation, accruals, reserves and reports
  • Handle cash flow forecast and variance analysis
  • Responsible for SOX and Financial audits and ensure compliance with Corporate policies and Sarbanes Oxley requirements, liaise with internal and external auditors and perform internal controls review process and make recommendations
  • Respond to ad hoc queries from various stakeholders including Commercial Finance and different business functions
  • Participate in system enhancement and process improvement from accounting perspective
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and assignments

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting or Finance or any related disciplines 
  • Qualified member of HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in financial & management reporting, forecast and analysis, preferably from MNCs
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sound knowledge in Excel, e.g. Pivot table & VLOOKUP, is a must
  • Proficiency in Oracle Financial System is preferred
  • A good team player with positive mindset and strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • With strong analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Good command of both written and spoken skills English and Chinese
