The Opportunity:
The Marketing Manager – EMEA will lead the planning and execution of Mattel Masterbrand's highest-profile marketing activations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, bringing the brand to life through breakthrough consumer experiences, integrated campaigns, media partnerships, retail programs and live events. This role will also lead marketing strategy and activation for select Mattel Creations collaborations with EMEA-based partners, serving as the regional marketing lead from partnership development through launch execution.
Working closely with Global, local market teams and external partners, this role will translate global strategies into culturally relevant regional activations while delivering best-in-class execution that strengthens brand equity, consumer engagement and business impact across EMEA.
Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, this role requires a collaborative marketer who can manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, influence cross-functional stakeholders, steward agency partners and deliver exceptional consumer experiences throughout the region
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Lead planning and execution of Mattel Masterbrand campaigns and evergreen initiatives across EMEA , including integrated marketing, media, experiential, and retail extensions.
- Own EMEA-based Mattel Creations collaborations from identifying and cultivating partnerships to contract negotiations to developing and executing integrated go-to-market plans; partnering with GBT on global strategy, brand creative and hand off for product development.
- Lead strategy, planning and execution of Mattel's presence at EMEA-based Comic Cons, including Lucca.
- Manage regional activation budgets, ensuring investments are strategically allocated, optimized and tracked.
- Gather and synthesize consumer, retail and cultural insights from across EMEA to inform regional decision-making and future global planning.
- Serve as the connective tissue between Global Masterbrand and EMEA, partnering across Brand Marketing, Category Activation Marketing, Local Marketing, Media, PR, Influencer and Commercial teams to ensure strong plans and execution.
- Manage agency partners and external vendors to deliver best-in-class consumer experiences and partnership activations.
- Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to evaluate campaign performance, optimize investments, and capture learnings for future activations.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7+ years experience in brand, integrated, regional or local marketing.
- Experience executing integrated marketing campaigns and consumer activations across multiple markets.
- Strong project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience managing agency partners, production timelines, and marketing budgets.
- Strong business and financial acumen with experience managing activation investments and ROI.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence and build strong working relationships across Global, Regional and Local teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Highly collaborative, proactive, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, highly matrixed environments.
- Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

- Gross annual salary range of EUR 66,400 - EUR 78,850
- Bonus scheme: Participation in Mattel Incentive Plan (MIP) with the target of15% of base salary, payout is determined by company and individual performance results
