Data Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture, Engineering, and Machine Learning:
- Support existing Informatica PC and IICS flows and retransformation on PowerCenter and IICS
- Establish and encode Patterns on GCP and associated data infrastructure for ETL/ELT, AIML
- Develop data transformation and integration strategies for seamless data flow between sources and destinations.
- Develop efficient and secure data transformation pipelines for analytics and
- Maintain metadata management processes for effective data governance.

2. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders, to deliver high-impact data solutions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering continuous learning and skill development.
Education Required: (Type of degree and acceptable field(s) of study): Bachelor’s degreewith 8+ years of experience.
- Skilled at data warehousing/data lake architecture implementations for analytical reporting translating real world business needs at scale for data lake and warehousing needs. Competence in debugging, refactoring, and optimizing code, along with the ability to determine when and how to automate tasks with experience in being able to operate in an agile environment for delivery of data products.
- Hands-on experience with developing and deploying production data pipelines using orchestration tools like GCP Cloud Composer/Airflow, CA Scheduler, Informatica
- Strong verbal and written development, and troubleshooting large-scale, production-grade distributed systems on GCP, selecting the appropriate tools to Skills.

- Preference Given to
- Collibra, Ascend, Vertex AI, DBT, Docker, Gitlab, ML Modelling, Oracle, DB2
- Nice To Have
- Kubernetes, SAFe Certification
- Must Have
- Proven experience and track record as a Data Architect with expertise in GBQ, Ascend, Collibra, Python, AIML, and data patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Exceptional communication skill with ability to describe complex concepts to a technical audience using UML based techniques.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Airflow
Language of work: English
Salary: C$ 138,000 annual base salary. Performance based bonus may be available at target of 15% of base salary.
