The Opportunity: 

Join Mattel Canada’s Digital Marketing & eCommerce team as a Senior Associate and help shape the online shopping experience for some of the world’s best-loved brands! Reporting to the Manager, you’ll work with internal teams and external agencies to lead our retail media strategy, manage the Mattel Shop product catalogue, curate compelling content, and oversee CRM efforts. In this fast-paced role, you’ll play a key part in driving sales and elevating the consumer journey for Mattel’s iconic brands.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Marketing teams to create retail media strategies aligned with global best practices and local insights.
  • Partner with external agencies to execute media campaigns, optimizing performance and budgets.
  • Manage the product catalogue and content for the Mattel Shop, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain a year-long CRM calendar to engage customers across Mattel’s brands.
  • Identify eCommerce opportunities to position Mattel as a leader with retail partners and drive online sales.
  • Plan and execute social media activations to support retailer promotions.
  • Coordinate with US and global teams to align Canadian strategies with global goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, Direct To Consumer (DTC), or digital marketing.
  • Proven expertise in digital or retail marketing, with a deep understanding of the consumer journey.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills; able to manage multiple priorities and turn data into insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • A quick learner with a sharp eye for detail and a creative, problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in CPG, toys, or consumer-facing industries (asset).
  • Familiarity with SEM/PPC, CRM tools, and retail media platforms (asset).
  • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
