As a Regional Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for: 

  • This role is responsible for Mattel Asia Pacific markets Financial monthly closing, forecasting, budgeting and analysis, as well as supporting to ensure internal reporting requirements are met
  • To aid management reports preparation and business review presentations, along with commentary on variance analysis
  • To provide decision support and finance intelligence that drive business with high quality and timely financial reports
  • Business partnering with different stakeholders in markets on forecasting/ budgeting preparation and submission
  • Prepare summary level reports on performance to executive leaders in APAC and US Headquarter
  • Enhance, develop and optimize process for improvements   
  • Be a team player supporting the FP&A team with management reporting and financial planning process, along with other ad-hoc analysis

Experience, knowledge and skills we think the right candidate will hold:

  • Finance Degree or a professional Accounting qualification is a plus
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a commercial / line finance function. Preferably with work experiences in an FMCG environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, a logical thinker who can solve problems in a practical manner whilst utilising their commercial acumen. In addition, someone who has the ability to perform under pressure whist adhering to strict deadlines. Systems literacy would be seen as a prerequisite of the role (Anaplan, HFM, HPT).
  • A persuasive, diplomatic and personable manner is required. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively to other Mattel employees both Finance and Non-Finance.
