Job Summary
-This position Quality Engineer is supporting American Girl
-This role will partner with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance throughout the product lifecycle, working place is MSC office.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work with product design and development teams on new product development process from idea stage to production launch2.
2. Coordinate with D&D team to establish right product specifications & product inspection specifications
3. Conduct Hazard Analysis and design reviews for all new products at different milestones during new product introduction processes
4. Coordinate with different labs to ensure right test schedules & Review/communicate test results
5. Prepare technical documents to support shipments & announce the new product release
6. Analyze quality data including customer complaints/returns to drive actions for quality improvement.
7. Help vendors resolve quality related issues
Qualifications & Requirements
1.Education
- Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering education.
- At least 5 years quality integrity engineering experience; Children care product manufacturing experience is preferable.
- Good understanding of Quality Engineering & development process.
- Knowledge of product safety & reliable requirements, familiar with quality related tools such as SPC & FMEA.
2.Language
- Good command of English both in written and verbal.
3.Other skill or certificate
- Work with product design and development teams on new product development process from idea stage to production launch
