The Opportunity:
The Global Talent team provides world class programs geared towards developing, engaging, and retaining our talent. We design cohesive talent experiences as part of the end-to-end employee experience, including onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and career development, with diversity and inclusion foundation to all we do.
The Manager, Talent Development EMEA has end-to-end ownership of regional organizational development and performance initiatives, while actively contributing to the design and execution of global talent programs.
This role is accountable for translating Mattel’s global Organizational Development and People strategy into high-impact, locally relevant solutions across EMEA, strengthening career development, performance, leadership capability, and employee experience. The role operates with significant autonomy, acts as a strategic thought partner to P&CBPs and business leaders, and ensures disciplined execution in a complex, matrixed environment.
Success in this role requires the ability to think strategically, execute rigorously, influence without authority, and continuously evolve talent solutions using data, insight, and external best practices.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Along with the Associate Manager of Talent Development, own and lead EMEA organizational development and talent management-related processes, including OTPs, Talent & Performance Management cycles, career action planning, and related governance.
- Translate global frameworks into regionally relevant approaches, balancing standardization with local market needs.
- Actively shape and embed a growth-oriented, inclusive culture across EMEA by integrating inclusion, belonging, and employee voice into talent, performance, and development practices.
- Leverage engagement insights, feedback, and qualitative data to identify cultural opportunities and risks, translating them into targeted development actions.
- Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of regional talent, career, and development programs aligned with business priorities, performance outcomes, and succession planning.
- Act as a trusted advisor to P&C and leaders on career development, performance management, and capability building.
- When required, personally deliver or support the delivery of high-quality in-person and virtual learning experiences, including ESCI 360 feedback, team effectiveness workshops, and profiling tools such as DISC or Discovery.
- Manage relationships with external learning and assessment partners, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with Mattel standards.
- Monitor and manage learning budgets and resources, ensuring efficient use of investment and clear ROI.
- Define success measures and track the impact of talent and learning initiatives, using data and insights to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Education, or related field required.
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in Organizational Development, L&D, Capability Building, or P&C, with demonstrated ownership of regional or complex initiatives. Experience supporting the design and facilitation of performance management programs.
- Proven experience designing and executing performance management, career development, and talent processes in a global, matrixed environment.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect talent initiatives to commercial priorities and future capability needs.
- Skilled at influencing and partnering across cultures and levels. Leads and acts with a high level of autonomy and ownership.
- Analytical and data-informed, able to demonstrate impact and make evidence-based recommendations.
- Highly collaborative, relationship-driven, and trusted as a thought partner.
- Experience delivering results in a highly entrepreneurial team.
- Flexibility, adaptability and resourcefulness to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
- Fluency in English and ideally one other European language would be preferred.

- Gross annual salary range of PLN 266880 - PLN 316920
- Bonus Scheme: Participation in Mattel Incentive Plan (MIP) with the target of 15% of base salary, payout is determined by company and individual performance results
