The Brand and Product Development Analyst supports the LATAM Vehicles marketing team in managing the regional portfolio for Matchbox, Disney·Pixar Cars, and Thomas & Friends.

This role provides analytical, operational, and executional support to ensure effective brand management, portfolio planning, and consistent implementation of merchandising strategies.

Key responsibilities include supporting portfolio planning with accurate product information, pricing for new launches, tracking point-of-sale performance, managing the product life cycle, and coordinating marketing materials across multiple touchpoints.

The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional, regional, and global teams to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Commercial Support: Assist in executing commercial and brand strategies across LATAM markets, ensuring alignment with regional objectives and category priorities.

  2. Market and Competitive Analysis: Gather and analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to support portfolio and pricing decisions.

  3. Brand and Product Operations: Manage SKU life cycle processes, including item setup, portfolio tracking, assortment management, price lists, and product discontinuations.

  4. Merchandising Execution: Support GTM calendar management, new product launches, and coordination of marketing campaigns across digital media, PR, retail, and e-commerce channels.

  5. Licensing and Local Activations: Collaborate with licensors and local teams to ensure brand alignment in activations, promotions, and content adaptation.

  6. Performance Tracking: Monitor and consolidate commercial KPIs (gross sales, POS, direct sales, market share), ensuring timely reporting and data accuracy.

  7. Global Collaboration: Coordinate with global brand and product teams to share market feedback, product insights, and performance updates; support the adaptation of global strategies to regional needs.

  8. Asset and Information Management: Coordinate the approval and distribution of product and marketing assets with internal and external partners.

  9. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain close communication with Sales, Trade, Demand Planning, and Finance to support business planning and execution.


  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

  2. Experience: 1–2 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or product management preferred. Experience in consumer goods, retail, or entertainment industries is desirable.

  3. Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  4. Technical Proficiency: Intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Circana, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.

  5. Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across teams and countries.

  6. Organization and Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines.

  7. Languages: Native Spanish and advanced English (written and spoken).

  8. Mindset: Curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
