The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.

The Team:


 

  1. Production Support
  • Governing and driving Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Release Management
  • Driving and Managing Incident Managers, Problem Managers, Change Managers and Release Managers
  • Ensuring the effectiveness of the whole Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Release Management by conducting periodic reviews and make recommendations for improvements
  • Facilitating workshops and/or forums to promote Change Management initiatives
  • Attend daily CAB meetings and assist with review and approval of change requests
  • Audit Aging Problem tickets, Change requests and Weekly Emergency Change requests and work with appropriate GTO Tower leads to ensure all Change Requests are closed within change windows and/or timely manner
  • Perform periodic reviews and ensure all IM, PM CM & RM process documents such as SOP, runbook, user-guide and training materials are up to date
  • Manage and make sure only authorized changes are implemented on production environments
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual IM, PM, CM & RM SOX audit controls are submitted, reviewed, issues/remediations (if any) are resolved and approved per assigned completion date
  • Review Weekly Change Calendar report and ensure latest version is provided during Executive Operation meetings
  • Ensure all changes resulting on P1/P2 incidents are reported, tracked and conducted RCA’s.
  • Lead and manage an Identity and Access Management Team focused on IAM technologies such as IGA (Identity Governance and Administration), PAM (Privileged Access Management), and SSO (Single-Sign-On) solutions.
  • Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned projects.
  • Available 24/7 for any critical security incident response that may arise which requires immediate resolution.
  • Work to ensure security identity tooling within Mattel environments are operational and operating at needed levels of service and availability.
  • Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of the IAM program.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant information security identity, authentication, authorization, and governance technology and techniques, bringing forth ideas for modernization and improvement.
  • Ensure identity operations practices provide a sound foundation that utilizes tools and processes for rapid identification of security events to address and mitigate risks.
  • Engage with peers regularly for identity and access management functions, project status, activities, and achievements.
  • Manage “Continuous Improvement” efforts, in respect to Mattel’s information security identity tooling and systems.
  • Contribute to security requirements, standards, procedures, and reference architectures to comply with policies and technical standards.

 

  1. Partner Management
    Manages delivery of IT Process controls of IM, PM, CM and RM by collaborating and driving the outsourced partner to successful delivery of contractual obligations with predefined SLA’s and OLA’s
  2. Projects
    • Provides input to initiation and analysis activities including Project Charter development, Cost Benefit Analysis, Request for Information and Request for Proposals.
    • Manages small projects as assigned, including timeline, scope, resources, risk, quality and customer expectations.
    • Ensures all enterprise and IAM standards are followed.

 

  1. Relationship Management
    • Participates in discussions between IT and the business unit regarding current and anticipated service requirements and alternative approaches.
    • Maintains strong relationships with customers.
    • Assists with the education of customers about current IT trends and technology.

 

  1. Administration
    • Communicates plans, status and issues on a regular basis to executive management.
    • Plans and evaluates the work of technical and other support staff.
    • Audits and approves staff work reflected on invoices and timecards.
       
  2. Departmental Requirements
    • Available for all critical outages by driving the team to service restoration.

Education

 

 HS Diploma/GED    AA/AS      BA/BS   MBA/MS   PHD

 

Certification/Licenses: - Preferable    

  • ITILv3
  • GSEC, CISSP, GIAC, (ISC)2, Okta, CyberArk or similar technical certification a plus.

 

Knowledge:

  • Extensive knowledge of IAM and PAM.
  • Extensive knowledge of RedHat Linux, Windows, AD, Entra, MFA, Okta, JML, SCIM, CyberArk
  • Extensive knowledge of Incident Management, Problem Management, Change and Production Control Frameworks as set forth in the ITILv.3 library.

 

 

Skills:

  • Strong ability to build, influence, lead and motivate effective teams towards end results.
  • Ability to write and present effective materials, including presentations, status reporting, etc.
  • Ability to lead effective meetings that are tailored to the audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, clients and other IT personnel.
  • Ability to negotiate with customers to reach agreement on common goals and service levels.
  • Ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis to resolve issues.

 

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or applicable experience.
  • 10+ Years of experience within information security operations in multiple roles.
  • 10+ years of experience with cloud security and infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Entra) and O365 services and technology.
  • 10+ years of experience with security identity operations utilizing PAM (CyberArk, Delinea, Okta OPA etc.)
  • 10+ years of experience with security identity operations utilizing IGA platforms (SailPoint, Okta IGA etc).
  • 5+ years of experience defining, refining, and driving efficiency in operational processes.
  • Extensive experience with Okta modules OPA, OIG, ASA, Workflows is a plus.
  • Extensive experience with, but not excluded to: SAML, OID, OAuth, SCIM, MFA.
  • Extensive experience working with and managing Active Directory, Entra ID.
  • Experience with IAM technologies (IAM, PIM, PAM) and directory services such as SailPoint, Okta, Active Directory, OneLogin, LastPass, Keeper, Delinia.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Python, and scripting.
  • Knowledge of information security identity standards, principles, and practices required.
  • Knowledge of industry security standards, guidelines, and regulatory/compliance requirements related to information security such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, SOC2, PCI, SOX, NYDFS, etc.
  • Excellent prioritization, decision making, critical thinking, communication, and relationship building skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively across teams during high-stress situations.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment where priorities shift quickly—move with urgency, adapt to change, and communicate proactively to maintain momentum without losing sight of ownership or impact.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with budgeting for Operations products, services, and support.
  • Experience managing co-location relationships with heavy emphasis on Outsourcing relationships
  • Skilled in examining and re-engineering IT operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Advanced analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the principles and processes of computerized business and operating systems.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports for Executive Management
  • Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in area of expertise.
  • Ability to provide and drive data collection needs for various annual Corporate Audits: SOX, PCI, etc.
